Three AEON Tebrau City campaigns end 16 Sept 2026: Satu Hati contest, Hock Kee keychains and Tapau picnic.

Satu Hati, Hock Kee keychains and Tapau picnic close on Malaysia Day

Three AEON Mall Tebrau City campaigns shut on 16 September 2026, Malaysia Day. Satu Hati Pelbagai Rasa is a photo contest for RM690 gift vouchers. Hock Kee is handing out Kopitiam Bestie keychains against same-day receipts. Tapau Your Local Food Picnic is the Merdeka-edition takeaway prompt. All three opened on 1 August and sit on the official mall event list.

They are not one festival with a stage schedule. They are three overlapping mall programmes with different jobs. The contest wants a public post. The keychains want a receipt. The picnic copy wants you to tapau from a tenant and sit with people. If you only have one afternoon before Malaysia Day, do the receipt redemption first. Keychains run while stocks last, and 16 September is a Wednesday, which is a quieter mall day than the weekend before it.

How to enter Satu Hati Pelbagai Rasa

The mall's event page keeps the steps short. Snap a photo with your favourite local food from an AEON Mall tenant. Upload it to your social media. Put #AEONMALLMERDEKA2026 on the post. Three winners take RM690 AEON Gift Vouchers. The page does not name a judging date or a private-account rule, so assume the hashtag has to be public enough for the mall team to find it, and keep the post up through 16 September.

Local food here means Malaysian plates from tenants in this building, not a random grocery haul. Ground-floor Madam Kwan's at Lot G109B opened in 2026 and still pushes nasi bojari, char kuey teow, and nasi lemak. Hua Mui at Lot F65 on the first floor is the JB chicken-chop kopitiam that moved into the mall in October 2025. Penang Road Famous Teochew Chendul is at Lot S30 on the second floor. Oriental Kopi at Lot G117 is the one with Mid-Autumn gift boxes still on the counter through 30 September, 10% off with Maybank, UOB, or Public Bank cards. Any of those four reads as local food for the hashtag. A Uniqlo fitting-room selfie does not.

Hock Kee's Kopitiam Bestie keychains are limited-edition and tied to same-day receipts. AEON members redeem on RM50 of food and beverage or RM150 of non-F&B. Non-members need RM80 F&B or RM200 non-F&B. The mall repeats the same numbers on the Tebrau City event page and on the duplicate listing other AEON Malls carry. Terms apply, while stocks last. If you already shopped at the AEON supermarket this morning, a non-F&B receipt is the faster path. If you are eating anyway, stack the F&B receipt from Madam Kwan's or Oriental Kopi and redeem on the way out.

Hock Kee is a kopitiam brand, not a permanent unit in the Tebrau tenant directory the way Madam Kwan's is. Treat this as a mall redemption counter campaign, not a sit-down restaurant opening. Ask at the ground-floor information counter where the desk is this week. Do not walk the second floor looking for a Hock Kee lot number that is not on the directory.

The picnic line, and why 16 September is the hard stop

Tapau Your Local Food Picnic, Merdeka Edition, is the thinnest of the three on paper. The official copy only says gather family and friends for a picnic of local food from participating tenants. There is no published picnic zone map, no deposit, no time slot. Read it as permission to take away from the F&B list and sit in the atrium or the open parking edges, not as a ticketed event. If the mall has laid out mats or a court booking, the information counter will know. If it has not, you still have the contest and the keychains.

Malaysia Day is the close, not a bonus day after. 16 September 2026 is a Wednesday. The mall still runs Sunday-to-Thursday hours, 10am to 10pm. Bus J10 from JB Sentral still drops at the AEON Tebrau / Toppen stop. Parking is the usual LPR setup at this mall, which is free if you stay inside the posted window. If you are coming from Singapore for one errand, pair the hashtag photo with a keychain redemption and leave. The Japanese anniversary booths in the same atrium close three days earlier, on 13 September, so the weekend of 12 and 13 September is the overlap if you want both.
