IKEA Tebrau still has one Sorted Lah! Open House weekend left: Saturday 31 October and Sunday 1 November 2026. The Sorting Escape runs 12pm to 10pm both days, Najwa Latif plays Sound Check at 6pm on Saturday, and The Great Book Club sits 12pm to 2pm the same afternoon. After that the campaign closes.
The store sits at No. 33, Jalan Harmonium, Taman Desa Tebrau, 81100 Johor Bahru, inside Toppen Shopping Centre, next door to AEON Mall Tebrau City. Store hours are 10am to 10pm. The Swedish Restaurant opens at 9:30am if you want breakfast before the floor unlocks. IKEA Malaysia has been cashless since 1 September 2026, so bring a card or e-wallet.
Sorted Lah! Open House has been running every weekend from 10 October. Damansara and Cheras added Thursday to Sunday slots on later weeks. Tebrau stayed Saturday and Sunday only. The 24 to 25 October weekend is already gone. 31 October to 1 November is the last pair of days on the Tebrau calendar, and it is the weekend IKEA uses for the King of Storage final.
The Sorting Escape, 12pm to 10pm
The Sorting Escape is a timed home-storage game. Teams work through four challenges labelled Find it, Sort it, Pack it, and Solve it, collect a key for each, then try the final wardrobe unlock. Official copy on the Sorted Lah campaign page and the IKEA Tebrau store page both put Tebrau hours at 12pm to 10pm on 31 October and 1 November 2026.
Each team needs 2 to 6 people. Budget about 30 minutes. Book a slot on the campaign microsite at sorting-escape-prod.web.app. Walk-up is possible if a slot is free, but the last weekend is the one World of Buzz and The Rakyat Post both flag for the leaderboard final, so a booking is the safer plan.
King of Storage is a set of IKEA storage heroes, a bookcase and chest of drawers, worth up to RM800. IKEA Malaysia's first Home Organisation Index, a survey of 506 people run 22 to 27 September 2026, found that 9.5 percent believed they needed a larger home. The in-store pitch is that most of the rest have a storage problem, not a square-footage problem. Take that as marketing if you want. The game is still a 30-minute thing to do with kids after the restaurant.
Najwa Latif at 6pm on 31 October
Sound Check at Tebrau this Saturday is Najwa Latif at 6pm. The 17 October set here was Bunga. Damansara gets ALYPH the same night, Cheras gets Midnight Fusic, Batu Kawan gets FUGŌ. The store page and the national campaign page agree on the Tebrau name and time. There is no ticket. Pull a seat in the living-room set they built for the weekend.
The Listening Lounge sits next to that idea all weekend, 10am to 10pm Saturday and Sunday. Pick a vinyl, sit in a showroom sofa, stay for a side. Little Designers, the kids colouring corner, uses the same 10am to 10pm window. Say Hej, the mascot photo stop, is 12pm, 2pm, 6pm and 8pm both days. The Great Book Club is Saturday 31 October only, 12pm to 2pm, a bookshelf curated with local reading groups. The Design Table with Shin Chang was Sunday 25 October, 2pm to 3pm. That slot has passed.
Parking, buses, and a Family card
There is no MRT in eastern Johor Bahru. Buses from JB Sentral and Larkin stop at the Toppen / IKEA Tebrau cluster. Causeway Link and BAS.MY routes J10, J16 and P111 are the ones Toppen lists on its getting-here page. Drivers use the Toppen car park. IKEA validates an RM1 rebate on the first three hours if you buy something in the IKEA store. Monday to Thursday, cars pay RM2 for the first three hours, then RM1 each extra hour. Friday to Sunday and public holidays, cars pay RM3 for the first three hours. Motorbikes are RM1 per entry on weekdays and RM2 on weekends and public holidays.
Småland, the play area for kids between 100cm and 130cm, is 10am to 8:30pm on Saturday and Sunday, 10 kids per session. Click & Collect at this store is 12pm to 8pm if you are pairing a furniture pickup with the Open House. IKEA Family is free to join at the member portal. Staff will ask for the physical card or the eCard in the app if you want Family food prices after the escape room.
The Swedish Restaurant is 9:30am to 9:30pm. Chicken balls are still on the board from 6 October. Family weekday 25 percent specials on chicken balls, fish and chips, and beef meatballs run Monday to Wednesday only, and they end 29 October, so they will already be off the board by this Open House weekend. The restaurant is still the reason a lot of Singapore coaches stop here before the showroom.
