"Small shop, not much atmosphere... just a place where you eat and go. It's clean. The ramen isn't cheap, yet I don't really feel it's worth the price. The portion is small, and the meat is very fatty. The soup is not flavorful enough. The deep-fried gyoza skin is tougher than my grandfather's skin. The steamed ones are quite okay. The waiters are very attentive, which is the best thing about the whole shop."

"Overall, it's good; I've had it many times. For me, it's at the top of my list in JB. But today I tried the 辣酱芝麻鸡肉... it wasn't that tasty, so I wouldn't recommend it."

"Surprisingly good! The char siu is more Chinese-style than Japanese, but still very good. The side dishes are worth it too, especially the boiled dumplings and cold chicken. RM40 for a bowl of ramen (a good portion), a side dish, and tea for lunch is super reasonable. Quick service as well."

Tucked away in a quiet corner of the shopping mall, this small ramen shop is easy to miss. However, stepping inside feels like being transported to a cozy, streetside ramen bar in Japan. The intimate space, paired with the smooth sounds of jazz music playing in the background, creates a warm and inviting atmosphere.
The tonkotsu ramen is impressive, at least by my standards. The broth is rich and flavorful, the noodles are cooked perfectly al dente, and the chashu is tender and packed with taste. One unexpected highlight was the gyoza. I suspect they make it in-house, as the filling was juicy and well-seasoned. While the skin could have been a touch crispier, it still made for an enjoyable side dish.
At $58 for a set of two, the price feels reasonable for the quality of the food. Overall, this little ramen shop delivers a satisfying experience for both the taste buds and the soul. If you’re craving authentic ramen with a cozy, nostalgic vibe, it’s worth seeking out this hidden gem.

"Thick broth. We loved the pork, too. The area is quiet, even though the restaurant is in a crowded shopping mall. Will revisit when we're craving ramen!"
