"Surprisingly good! The char siu is more Chinese-style than Japanese, but still very good. The side dishes are worth it too, especially the boiled dumplings and cold chicken. RM40 for a bowl of ramen (a good portion), a side dish, and tea for lunch is super reasonable. Quick service as well."

Tucked away in a quiet corner of the shopping mall, this small ramen shop is easy to miss. However, stepping inside feels like being transported to a cozy, streetside ramen bar in Japan. The intimate space, paired with the smooth sounds of jazz music playing in the background, creates a warm and inviting atmosphere.
The tonkotsu ramen is impressive, at least by my standards. The broth is rich and flavorful, the noodles are cooked perfectly al dente, and the chashu is tender and packed with taste. One unexpected highlight was the gyoza. I suspect they make it in-house, as the filling was juicy and well-seasoned. While the skin could have been a touch crispier, it still made for an enjoyable side dish.
At $58 for a set of two, the price feels reasonable for the quality of the food. Overall, this little ramen shop delivers a satisfying experience for both the taste buds and the soul. If you’re craving authentic ramen with a cozy, nostalgic vibe, it’s worth seeking out this hidden gem.

"Small shop, not much atmosphere... just a place where you eat and go. It's clean. The ramen isn't cheap, yet I don't really feel it's worth the price. The portion is small, and the meat is very fatty. The soup is not flavorful enough. The deep-fried gyoza skin is tougher than my grandfather's skin. The steamed ones are quite okay. The waiters are very attentive, which is the best thing about the whole shop."

"Thick broth. We loved the pork, too. The area is quiet, even though the restaurant is in a crowded shopping mall. Will revisit when we're craving ramen!"

"Overall, it's good; I've had it many times. For me, it's at the top of my list in JB. But today I tried the 辣酱芝麻鸡肉... it wasn't that tasty, so I wouldn't recommend it."

"The tonkotsu ramen was nice and creamy. The set meal was also worth it, with a side dish and refillable iced green tea."

"Found this hidden gem tucked into a corner at the end of a short corridor. Almost missed it!
We had tonkotsu ramen, and it was rich and delicious. The chashu was good, and the egg was done right. Mum loved the cold chicken dish that came with the set meal. Will definitely be back for more."

Loved the tonkotsu broth.
Well-made and very tasty, with a full umami flavor.
It's a bit hidden within "Ramen Street," but the pork chashu is delicious too.
The value set is worth it; you get a side dish and a tea (hot or cold).
I recommend coming to support them.

This is my go-to for an authentic Japanese ramen fix whenever I visit Aeon Tebrau City in JB.
The quality of the ramen, the runny eggs, the char siu, and of course the tonkotsu broth are all top-notch, just like you're having a bowl of ramen in Japan. Yummy 😋. The char siu could be better, though, but at this price point, I can't complain.
If you ever visit this mall and crave something Japanese, try this stall out.
It has stood the test of time, pre-COVID and post-COVID, and it's the last stall standing in this "Japan street" across from the Owndays eyeglasses shop.
Enjoy. 😋
