First time trying this restaurant, didn't have much expectation but actually the food was not too bad. The Chashu is very very thin sliced, if compared to other ramen shops, you might have 16 slices of such chashu, but they only give you 4 to 5 slices. Their Ramen is quite worth it when come with a set meal, you can choose fried rice, gyoza, additional chashu and so on with a glass of green tea. Overall I think not bad besides the super thin chashu.

Kibou-ken Japanese restaurant exceeded my expectations! The ramen was deliciously flavorful, and the fried rice was spot-on. Overall, a fantastic dining experience. Highly recommend trying it out!

I've been to many ramen restaurants in JB area. This is definitely one of my favorite ramen place. I've been a loyal fan since their opening day in aeon. Their price was never changed since the day they opened and their quality was consistently high. I highly recommend their tonkotsu ramen. There are none there shops in jb that serves such high quality broth at this price range. Their shio and shoyu was really good as well and a change of flavour once in a while. I don't really like their spicy miso ramen that much though. At rm26++ per bowl it seems expensive at first but remember it's a whole set including drinks and one side dish. You could oder more of their charsiew which I highly recommend as their side as that is the most heavenly piece of meat you will ever consume ever!

Thick broth. We love the pork too. The area is quiet despite the restaurant is a crowded shopping mall. Will revisit when we crave for ramen!

This is my go to for an authentic Japanese Ramen fix whenever I visit Aeon Tebrau City in JB. The quality of the ramen, the runny eggs and char-shu and of course the Tonkatsu broth are all up there, just like you are having a ramen bowl in Japan. Yummy 😋. The Char-shu could be better though, but with this pricing, I can't complain. If you ever visit this mall, and crave for something Japanese, try this stall out. It stood the test of time, pre covid and post covid and it's the last stall standing in this Japan street across Owndays spectacle shop. Enjoy. 😋
