This shop has similar resemblance to the popular shop. We didn't have to wait considering that it's almost full house. Menu offers a wide variety. Huge portion for every dish. Ordered sweet and sour pork but it's not pictured.
Everything is on the saltier side. The fish is salty. There's free refill for soup but it's so salty. It almost tastes like soup base for instant noodle. The century egg with tofu is slightly spicy and way too salty. Though I like the consistency of the scrambled eggs with tomato, it is also too salty to eat it on its own. All these would go well with rice but it's too salty for a non-rice eater like me.
Pricing is very affordable considering the huge portion. Ordered 4 dish and it's more than enough for pax of 4 (2 of us couldn't finish at all).
Would recommend to give it a try and order their thirst quenching jumbo ice lemon tea. Overall would consider coming back again and would be great if they can be less heavy handed on the salt.

This fish portion is meant for 1-2pax but honestly it can feed 4 pax at best omg the portion is so humongous it’s so worth it and the tofu tastes nice and super soft!

Awesome soup and great service but very limited beverage selection. Maybe the management should consider adding a wider beverage line to their already good setup 🙏🙏🙏

FISH WAS really tender and flavourful! Got the signature fish with non oil and less spicy and I think it’s a good choice for me! Soup was a tad bit too salty for me but works fine when you pair it with rice :) Overall a rather good meal. Recommended to try! Service was 10/10.
OH AND THE 糍粑 was yumz. Not too sweet but would prefer the outer layer to be thinner :)

Great food and service! Food portion were generous. We ordered preserved vegetable fish portion for 1-2 persons but we manage to share it between 4 of us. We also ordered tomato egg, salt & peppered tofu and sautéed French beans. We were so full after our meal. If we have to pick something about the place, need stronger air con.

We tried the Signature dish with normal spicy level and added mung bean noodles. The dish was too oily for us. Also very salty after a few mouthfuls. Would go well with plain rice to counter the oil and intense saltiness. If coming again will go for the non-oil version.
Nonetheless the fish was smooth and succulent.
Price is on the high side. We came during the weekday lunch promotion and even so with tax and service had to pay about RM70+.

We visited on a Sunday afternoon about 1:50pm and we waited about 5 mins for our seats.
We came because of a friend's recommendation!
They're so thoughtful to even provide aprons upon request.

Ordered the less spicy, thin sliced fish of their signature fish dish. We added enoki mushroom and bamboo shoot to the soup as well.
Good taste. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Clean and comfortable environment.
There is also a return voucher of 15RM given for next in store usage.

Great food, great music, great vibes!!
Not only was the food perfectly prepared and cooked, but the flavors also suited our taste so well.
1. Lee’s Signature Fish – This Sichuan-style fish was expertly cooked, and we specifically requested slightly thicker slices, which turned out perfect. We added smooth beancurd, and the soup was incredibly flavorful, with generous amounts of preserved vegetables and sliced radish. Honestly, it was much better than Tai’er!
2. Green Chili Pepper Fried Iberico Pork – We enjoyed this dish, but felt that Xiang Xiang’s version edged it out in terms of flavor. The pork was a bit too heavily marinated with pepper for our liking.
3. Stir-Fried Cabbage – Absolutely superb! The heat stove kept the cabbage warm throughout the meal, enhancing the overall experience.
Absolutely satisfying!
Thank you, Chef, for the wonderful dishes!

Update (25 April 2025):
I returned with friends because I love the food here. While I still enjoyed the meal, it wasn’t 100% to my satisfaction this time, and I experienced a little stomach discomfort afterward.

Tried Xiao Li Suan Cai Yu for the first time — and it really hit the spot! 🐟💯
The fish was fresh and tender, and the suan cai broth was just the right level of sour and spicy. Super flavorful and comforting!
Loved the wide noodles and tofu — they soaked up the broth perfectly. Portion size was generous and the price felt fair.
The restaurant was clean, and the staff were friendly and efficient.
Great spot for a casual, satisfying meal. Will definitely come back again!

The food was truly delicious , and the service was excellent . However, I noticed something concerning in the kitchen. I observed one of the cooks adding enoki mushrooms directly from the packaging to a dish without washing them first. This raised some food safety concerns for me . While I enjoyed the meal overall, this incident made me question the restaurant's hygiene practices. I hope they address this issue to maintain high standards of cleanliness. Food safety is crucial for all restaurants, and proper handling of ingredients is essential.

The taste is good. But the amount of fish slices is too little for such a high price. The rice should be cooked better, some are not fully cooked.
