Lavender Bakery at AEON Tebrau City stands as one of Malaysia's most beloved bakery destinations, bringing artisanal European-inspired baking excellence to Johor Bahru since its establishment. Located on the ground floor, this renowned pâtisserie draws inspiration from the pleasant scent and beauty of the Lavandula plant, creating an atmosphere that delights all senses while delivering exceptional baked goods.
Their commitment to quality shines through their philosophy of producing foods without added preservatives, pork, lard, or alcohol, while supporting local farmers and premium ingredient suppliers. Popular offerings include their signature Garlic Cream Cheese Bun, Harajuku Cheese Cake, Portuguese Egg Tarts (RM 2.6), and Milk Custard Bread, each crafted in controlled batches to ensure optimal freshness and flavor.
Operating with an adjacent L. Cafe for the complete dining experience, Lavender Bakery consistently draws crowds of devoted customers, including many Singaporeans who specifically visit for their exceptional quality. Their combination of artisanal craftsmanship, premium ingredients, and honest pricing has established them as an essential destination within AEON Tebrau City's diverse culinary landscape.
"I've had their lavender breads before and found them just okay. Today I tried their L.cafe.
The Blueberry Yogurt cake (RM13) was again, just so-so. The sponge was a bit dry, similar to the breads I had previously.
The Ice Honey Lemon (RM12) was normal."

It's a huge mall! My feet were tired and begging to stop walking. The toilets are smelly, dirty, and run down. But they have so many stores and restaurants. Can't review much more about the mall. A mall is a mall, right?

The bread models all look delicious. I tried to buy some bread because my son likes chocolate. The chocolate bread is delicious, but for me, the bread itself isn't soft enough; it's a bit hard. For the price, it's not too expensive, which is okay.

"No halal certification, though. Even hotels in Melaka have halal certificates. Singapore not having one means it's not halal! AEON has a great new bookstore and a fantastic new food court. Go shopping! 😆"

I ordered a cup of tea and a cup of Nescafé; to me, they were just ordinary beverages. For the first time in my life, I found lots of tiny particles in the cup of hot water supplied to me, and I have the pictures and video posted here to prove my rating. Please be careful if you're planning to bring your children to dine here, considering the orderliness and cleanliness of the food and drinks served. I suggest you check everything before you drink or eat here, as my friend's daughter got food poisoning from eating here. I came all the way from Seremban to get this published on Google Maps.

Our favorite bakery. Plenty of options. We love their cream puffs. They have a cafe next door. The coffee is nice, but it's often crowded. Staff should ask those who are finished to leave.

"I ordered a nice Americano that perked up my day, served by attentive staff. The only setback was the pandan gula Melaka cake, which was dry and too sweet for my liking. It's a family-oriented cafe with a nice atmosphere."
