"I always come to this restaurant when I'm in Malaysia, but I was disappointed today. The dish, "stewed sliced fish with yam," was different from the picture. It looked dry, but turned out to be wet and starchy. The fish also had a "muddy" smell. I think this dish should be improved or removed from the menu."

"The food isn't fantastic, although they probably used good ingredients. There's nothing particularly outstanding to shout out, but nothing to scream foul about either. The food takes some time to arrive. The staff were busy but attended to our requests. Overall, it's an average dining option."

"Relatively big restaurant, it was quite empty during Friday afternoon lunchtime. Perhaps lower prices would attract more customers. The food is good, but the prices are on the high side."

Unfortunately, my experience at this restaurant was disappointing, especially given my specific dietary requirements. I had made it clear that I am allergic to garlic, but my mushroom hot stone rice still came with minced garlic mixed in. This is a serious concern for anyone with allergies, and it shows a lack of attention to customer requests.
Additionally, the salted chicken was far from satisfying. It was incredibly dry, including the drumstick, and the meat itself had a pinkish hue, which made it look like it had been frozen and improperly cooked. The texture and flavor were not what I expected.
I hope the kitchen staff can take greater care in fulfilling special dietary requests and ensuring the quality of the food is up to standard.

Dismal and almost non-existent service. I felt ignored for a long time while waiting to be seated. After finally being seated, I managed to catch a server's attention to take my order.
The food, apart from the soup, was disappointing, especially the hand-cut noodles. They looked really appetizing on the menu, which promised chewy noodles. What arrived was very light, overcooked, and under-flavored noodles (and I don’t just mean lacking saltiness); it tasted like it was cooked by a child! The food also took a very long time to arrive between dishes. Portion sizes were also disappointing for the price. Overpriced, underwhelming food. There's better food out there for the prices they charge.

"Good as always. The consistency is there. So far, all the Souper Tang dishes have met their standards and are really consistent. The Buddha Jumps Over the Wall, fish maw, and tau huey are also great. You can never go wrong with these."

The staff was attentive, and we enjoyed the braised pork; it melted in our mouths.

Thoughtful wait staff and the chef made the meal nourishing and enjoyable.
I dined at this outlet and ordered something to "clean" my gut. I told the wait staff (who happened to also be the chef) that I had a bloated stomach, and she thoughtfully made minor adjustments to the ingredients of the stir-fried lotus and mushroom in honey black sauce, by adding some ginger, which is traditionally known to comfort the tummy.
The dish was yummy, a mix of salty and honey sweet, with a hint of ginger spice, without being too greasy. It is easily my favorite dish.
The stir-fried cabbage was fresh, crunchy, and savory, due to the mix of cai poh and white bait. The greens retained their green gloss, suggesting they were cooked at high heat in a timely manner.
The truffle egg and prawns were eggy and tasty, with a hint of truffle. It was just right, without overpowering the egginess of the dish. The prawns were fresh and crunchy.
Will I return? Certainly. This time to try the other specials and soups on the extensive menu!

First time here, and I ordered their signature dishes. All dishes were light on seasoning and salt, making them healthy yet still delicious.
Excellent service from a male staff member on duty on Monday, May 6th, during lunch. He spoke good Mandarin (with a Taiwanese accent, but he is local; I know because I asked). Unfortunately, I forgot to ask his name, but I was very impressed by his professionalism.
He was very welcoming, friendly, and even took the time to explain the origins of Souper Tang, how it sprouted from a herbal store in Malaysia to what it is today. I could hear the company pride in his sharing. We signed up as members once he explained the program clearly to us, and he was helpful in aiding the offset of our vouchers.
We left the restaurant very satisfied with the meal and the whole experience of good customer service! Kudos to the chefs and the young man who served us. We will be back.
