Char kway had a lot of eggshells in it. I was hoping it would be super crispy, but nope! Just eggshells!!
I told the staff about the eggshells, but they didn't acknowledge it.
Edit: Reply to management's reply: Maybe don't put eggshells in the dish?
Personally, I love the egg tarts. The fries are expensive, but they were worth it. The drinks are superb; I asked for less sugar, and they tasted just as good, even with a lot less sugar.
We came on a weekday after lunchtime. It wasn't crowded, and the food was delivered quickly.
The egg tart was so good! It had more of a biscuit-like texture.
The Spicy Lou Shu Fun was delicious. The simple noodle wasn't spicy at all, and the yolk made it perfect when blended in.
The Gyoza could have been fried a bit longer to be crispier.
The Wanton Noodle portion was normal and nice.
Simple menus and atmosphere, and the portions are big. I will come again.
Very good food. Loved the service. The staff member on duty, Htet Aung, really helped us with the food selection and recommended the best menu items. Everything was 🔥🔥🔥
Ordered the Jawa Mee, which is similar to Mee Rebus in Singapore. The gravy is flavorful and doesn't become too rich or cloying quickly. It cost RM9.90.
The Hainanese milk tea is surprisingly not too sweet (RM 5.2).
"The red bean was very sweet, even after I asked for less sugar. The mee rebus was okay, not bad. The yam cake was good; the pieces weren't too small, but it could have had a better aroma. You can hear other people talking very clearly because the space is small and very close to other people. It's not very convenient if you want a quiet place."
This is seriously the best food place ever, especially for breakfast or brunch! They even have old-school steamed tapioca! It was so perfect with the gula melaka and coconut milk!
Both drinks were awesome. Even their curry laksa noodles were perfectly made! Their chocolate toast bread was crunchy. Seriously great!
My family and I eat here EVERY TIME we come to Malaysia! We really love the main courses as much as the desserts! Would recommend the rat tail noodles!
"My favorite cafe, always, during my visits to Tebrau City! All the food is nice and up to standard. I especially like the stir-fried rice cake! I can’t find others better than this cafe! The price is reasonable, and the staff are nice and serve fast, too! I recommend having a coffee break here! But sometimes there are a lot of people, and you have to wait!"
"I was skeptical about visiting after reading the reviews, but the experience turned out to be fine. I walked in and was served promptly. They suggested some add-ons but still maintained a good attitude when I rejected them. They politely answered my queries and gave after-care tips. The hair wash by the assistant was also wonderful. Perhaps the only thing that could be improved was the blow-drying by the assistant. It was a bit rough and careless. Overall, they weren't particularly warm and friendly, but the price is reasonable, they maintained a professional attitude, and did their job well."
