Always walked past this shop wondering why there are always so many patrons. Finally found out the reasons. Very solid plate of chicken rice. The chicken is the highlight as it retains some Hainanese "blood" iykwim. Appreciate the mountain of chicken liver for 3rm.

I love their service! And their rice , chicken and porridge is seasoned very very well! Love this will definitely come back! I hope they enjoyed the cake that I got for them for their excellent service.

This was absolutely delicious. In the top 5 meals while In Malaysia. Such good value for money. The bok choy is highly recommended it was very good.

Chicken rice express quite hot. No aircond. Water keeps dripping since last year! Been here because the food is nice and friendly staff but had me bad experience.

Full house for 2 weeks straight means the food is really really good. Despite the long queue, we understand they’re new but still great welcome from the team! Well done Chicken Rice Express!

So far the best food around the area… but the rice need some improvement as it too watery… other than that all good for my liking.

The chicken porridge’s portion is just too GENEROUS I thought I accidentally added on extra chicken or rice to my order. I also ordered a take-away chicken rice. Both tasted VERY DELICIOUS. It’s a bit hot dining inside the restaurant though which is understandable since it’s not air conditioned.

Each time I order chicken rice, they don’t give cucumbers.. I questioned them and they said they tak sempat nak potong? Haloooo? Then kau reduce the pricing lah, senang. Malas Sgt ke nak ptg cucumber tu? Kirje 3-5mins .. hope the management will work on this.

We’re going to go somewhere else for dinner when we passed by this crowded eatery. They didn’t come up in our search for halal restaurant because they only list as Muslim-friendly.
