Today I visited Sephora at AEON Tebrau. I’m completely new to skincare, so I asked a staff member named Fienna for help. She was incredibly helpful; she did a skin test for me and recommended suitable products. The way she explained everything was clear and easy to understand. She was also very generous and calm when offering testers for us to try.

"I'm a Black Card member who recently moved to Johor from Kuala Lumpur. My first visit to Sephora Aeon Tebrau was on 9/12/24, and it was an unpleasant shopping experience. One Malay staff member with thick, black glasses frames kept following me very closely and invading my personal space. Because of this, I couldn't really browse the products I wanted to purchase, even after I told her that I would call her if I needed assistance. I haven't had this issue at the bigger Sephora locations that I frequently shop at (Mid Valley KL & Fahrenheit 88). Today, I went to Sephora Westgate in Singapore, and to my surprise, the staff were a lot nicer and more well-trained."

The staff there was rude. My mom was looking for a lip balm, and she glared at my mom, looking her up and down as if she didn't have any money. Sis, you better fix your attitude because with this kind of behavior, you're getting nowhere. My mom was very disappointed, as it was her first time going to Sephora.

"All the staff were very friendly to me and my mom, even though I was just wearing slippers at the time. The beautician was really helpful; she helped my mom choose shades and check stock. The counter lady was also really helpful. Since my mom isn't really familiar with Sephora outlets, she doesn't know much about them, but all the beauticians were very nice."
