The food was good! We had the assam laksa, chicken wings, pai tee, dry noodles, and cendol. The servers were polite and offered to take our orders even though a QR ordering system was in place. Ordering was seamless, and the food was served quickly.

Unbeatable Value for Authentic Nonya Food! Wow, what a gem! Authentic Peranakan Nonya flavors at super affordable prices. The dishes are lovingly prepared, and the portions are generous. Highly recommended! 5/5 stars

"I had dinner at the Peranakan restaurant yesterday and tried the Nyonya rendang; it was top-notch! The taste was incredibly authentic and flavorful. However, I also tried the Nyonya laksa, which wasn't up to expectations because it didn't have much spice, and the soup was not thick and was more watery. Besides that, I liked the sirap lime because it was less sugary and very refreshing. I would rate the service a 4. The staff were friendly and attentive, and they attended to our requests and orders promptly. The ambiance was great, and we were able to capture memorable pictures with family. It felt like we were immersed in Nyonya culture while enjoying delectable dishes. In conclusion, I would definitely recommend the Peranakan restaurant to those who crave Nyonya cuisine and to foodies. It's definitely worth the price and not too expensive. Also, you can try it at the JB Aeon Tebrau Peranakan restaurant without having to travel to Melaka!"

Only tried the chendol and teh tarik here. The chendol had delicious gula Melaka, fragrant natural-tasting green chendol strips, and coconut milk. The teh tarik was equally fragrant. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ RM$6.90 for the chendol.

The food was okay, but the place was clean and nicely decorated. It reminded me of Malacca and gave me the feeling of being transported back to their Malacca branch. ๐Ÿ˜† The service was prompt and friendly, and the prices were reasonable.

Laksa Nyonya is distinctively nice. The laksa gravy is thick and has a heavy taste of turmeric, galangal, and lemongrass. It's not too sour, despite a mild laksa aroma and some slices of cucumber. The Nasi Pandan Kukus Ayam Ponteh was okay. The Cendol should be the highlight of the meal, as it is prepared in heavy syrup with fragrant gula melaka and lots of ingredients, but the portion is kind of small.

Come try their asam laksaโ€”it's definitely different from *the* laksa, but both are delicious. I especially like the shrimp sauce they provide, which allows you to adjust the flavor to your liking.

Above average Peranakan food. The food was a little on the saltier side for the Singaporean palate, but it's probably fine from a Malaysian perspective. The Assam Laksa was good, and so were the lady's fingers. Food portions were generous; we definitely over-ordered. A single dish would be sufficient in terms of portion size. Therefore, the $40-60 MYR per person estimate isn't really indicative of the average spend here.

The food and dessert were nice ๐Ÿ˜. The nasi lemak tasted like an ordinary nasi lemak with rendang or ayam berempah ๐Ÿซถ๐Ÿป. The service and ambiance were superb! Thank you so much โค๏ธ.
