I had bought a Bonia belt at this store and had been using it for a few months, mainly when going to the office. After 5 months, I was surprised when a small metal component that secured the belt loosen up and therefore leaving the belt useless as it can’t be tighten. I did not imagine a Bonia branded belt would be of this quality. I have several much lower priced belt that I used previously, from other brands, and the buckle have never malfunctioned before. When I went to the store, I was informed that the small component is not part of the warranty and I meed to pay to have this repaired and the cost is 1/3 of the price of the belt. To me it feels like Bonia is making a profit from fixing their own items that malfunction instead of servicing their customers. I was an avid supporter of Bonia as they are a local brand and their handbags are of good design and quality, but this experience has made me to think that some of their product might be selling at a high price point but with a low quality material and craftsmanship. I decided not to have the belt repaired here.
