The orders took some time to prepare. We ordered a Café Latte, Mixed Berry Iced Tea, Jasmine Tea, and Chicago Cheesecake. The ambiance is nice, making it a good spot to relax after a long day of shopping. Please improve the speed of service.
Super packed on weekends 😖. I felt sorry for the staff, who had to call out customer names above the crowd noise and chatter 😅. We had their new Spanish latte (without cinnamon), mango sweet tea, and Chicago cheesecake. Anyway, all the best to the team, okay? 🌻
Coffee Bean, please teach your staff how to pack a cake properly.
I ordered carrot cake for take away. When I got home, I saw they packed the piece with the least amount of cream and topping. Plus, she also removed the side plastic that protects the cake during packaging.
Steamed kampong chicken was overcooked and distinctly lacking in the chicken flavor one would expect. The rice was pretty good, though, and the sauces are all great. Dim sum items were also above average. Unfortunately, the other stir-fry dishes were far below average. The sweet and sour pork was mostly batter, and the brinjal was not pleasant to eat. Should have gone to Nando's.
"Came on a Saturday around noon. It wasn't surprisingly crowded, perhaps because we were early. The chicken rice and dishes were good! The service staff was excellent. Will come back again 👍"
Month-old outlet of Swee Kee. They take pride in using chickens raised on a healthy diet. We ordered the drumstick, and it was plump and juicy. Excellent char siew and sio bak—crispy outside and tender within. The sauce for the noodles was delicious. Good variety of dim sum. Take note of the self-service sauce counter; I only saw it after my meal. The waiter didn’t highlight this, so I wasn’t aware of the signature chili sambal and green chili.
"The chicken rice was delicious. The bottom portion of the roast pork was very salty.
The dim sum was good.
The Chee Cheong fun came with a special sauce.
The double-boiled soup was delicious.
Their homemade Ngor Hiang was just so-so."
Average Chinese restaurant. The signature chicken wasn't as tasty as I expected. The other dishes were also quite average.
The char siew and roasted pork noodles were not bad (I forgot to take a picture). Note that dim sum is only available before 5 PM.
