Toppen Shopping Centre's Visa Tap & Treat campaign for tourists runs through 20 September 2026. Spend RM300 in a day on a foreign-issued Visa, show your passport at the Level 1 Information Counter, and the mall still lists a RM30 dining voucher as the starter reward. Who qualifies, and who does not
The terms are blunt. You must be a tourist or foreigner paying with a Visa credit, debit, or prepaid card issued outside Malaysia. Present the goods, the transaction slip, and the overseas Visa slip. Past receipts are invalid. One redemption per shopper per day. Staff of the mall and of tenant shops cannot redeem for you. The RM30 dining voucher is first come, first served, while stocks last.
An older clause said a RM500 spend still counted as one redemption because eligibility was based on receipt count, not total value, from 20 April to 31 July 2026. That window has closed. For August and September, the live rule to follow is RM300 in a maximum of two same-day receipts. If a counter staffer quotes the April version, ask them to open the current page.
Where to spend the RM300
The mall names Bar.B.Q Plaza, Hock Kee Kopitiam, The Chicken Rice Shop, and Yangguofu among dining options for the voucher. You do not have to spend the RM300 at those four. Any Toppen outlet counts toward the spend. The voucher is the thing you eat with later. IKEA Tebrau is next door and is its own store, with its own checkout. Do not mix an IKEA receipt into the two-receipt stack unless the counter explicitly accepts it. The published terms say "any outlets in Toppen." IKEA is the anchor next door, not a Toppen lot.
Toppen sits in Taman Desa Tebrau, linked toward AEON Mall Tebrau City by the covered pedestrian bridge. Singapore visitors usually arrive from Woodlands via the Causeway, then bus J10 from JB Sentral to Desa Tebrau, or a 20 to 30 minute drive. Hours are 10am to 10pm. Friday and Saturday at AEON next door stretch to 10:30pm. Toppen's Visa desk is Level 1 Information Counter during mall hours. Do not turn up at 9:50pm with two crumpled receipts and a passport in a bag.
What else is running in Tebrau this September
Toppen's Kita Kontinjen Malaysia gift-with-purchase line is advertised from 26 August to 4 October, with spend tiers at RM150 and RM300. That is a separate app campaign on TOPP Club. Visa Tap & Treat does not replace it. AEON Mall Tebrau City, across the bridge, is running Hock Kee Kopitiam Bestie keychains, a Satu Hati Pelbagai Rasa contest, and a Tapau Your Local Food Picnic through 16 September, plus year-long tourist privileges at Shabu-Yo, Souper Tang, Pandora, and others. Those AEON offers have their own receipts and counters. Keep the stacks apart.
If you only have one JB afternoon, do the Visa spend at Toppen first, redeem on Level 1, then walk the bridge to AEON for groceries. Exchange rates in early July sat around 3.15 ringgit to the Singapore dollar on YouTrip's Tebrau guide. Your bank's Visa rate on the day is the one that matters.
Campaign end date: 20 September 2026. After that, do not argue with the counter using this article.
