I’ve never left a review for a massage before, but this was such an unpleasant experience that it’s worthy of one. I’ve been to several other outlets of Siam Oasis, and they’ve all been fairly pleasant experiences. My visit to the Aeon Tebrau outlet was the first, and will be the last. I’ve always had 60 min massages, but this time, I decided to go for a 90 min traditional Thai massage, expecting a more thorough and relaxing experience. The masseuse assigned to me was a fairly plump lady who, right from the beginning, kept breaking into laughter. Even during a certain part of the massage, she was laughing. It felt like she was laughing at me, which came across as both disrespectful and unprofessional. The worst part, however, was the massage itself. There was no proper structure to her technique—most of the time, it felt like she was applying pressure at random spots just to go through the motions and it felt plain sloppy. I’ve had many proper Thai massages before, and I know how it should feel like. Overall, it felt like I paid for a longer massage only to waste my money and time. Instead of feeling relaxed, I left feeling frustrated. I wouldn’t recommend this outlet to anyone looking for a professional massage experience.
