I’ve never left a review for a massage before, but this was such an unpleasant experience that it warrants one.
I’ve been to several other Siam Oasis outlets, and they've all been fairly pleasant. My visit to the Aeon Tebrau outlet was the first, and will be the last.
I've always had 60-minute massages, but this time I decided to go for a 90-minute traditional Thai massage, expecting a more thorough and relaxing experience.
The masseuse assigned to me was a fairly plump lady who, right from the beginning, kept breaking into laughter. Even during certain parts of the massage, she was laughing. It felt like she was laughing at me, which came across as both disrespectful and unprofessional.
The worst part, however, was the massage itself. There was no proper structure to her technique; most of the time, it felt like she was applying pressure at random spots just to go through the motions, and it felt plain sloppy. I’ve had many proper Thai massages before, and I know how it should feel.
Overall, it felt like I paid for a longer massage only to waste my money and time. Instead of feeling relaxed, I left feeling frustrated.
I wouldn’t recommend this outlet to anyone looking for a professional massage experience.

"I had the aromatherapy massage today, and I'm not satisfied with the massage skills at all. She didn't even wipe the oils off my body. It was a waste of money. I won't come here again."

As usual, Siam Oasis is a cut above the rest in terms of quality, professionalism, comfort, cleanliness, and interior ambience. This is no less true at Siam Oasis Aeon Tebrau, except that it was rather noisy. Firstly, this outlet doesn't have a front door, and when the mall crowd builds up, you hear children playing, babies screaming, and shoppers chatting at unpleasant levels, all the way in the massage rooms. Secondly, if you are doubly unfortunate, you might hear people bantering loudly while having foot massages in the reflexology room nearby.
Siam Oasis should consider: (1) installing main doors at all their outlets, and (2) putting up small signs to remind guests to keep their voices down out of consideration for other guests.
For now, my favorite Siam Oasis outlet remains at Toppen Mall.

"The masseuse was quite experienced and I overall enjoyed the massage. However, I must say the tea they serve is below average, and the place was super cold throughout, despite having two blankets. This place was also on the pricey side compared to other massage places in JB (some even offer free-flow food and movies!). I would only recommend it if you have no other options or simply can't be bothered to travel to other massage locations."

"The therapist is good, and the place is clean. However, the price is a little high."

"Good quality massages that are worth the slightly higher price. The 5 Senses massage was good and covered all body parts; though it felt a little rushed at times, it was overall relaxing and really hit the spot."

Visited on Christmas Eve and we were lucky to have managed to book the aromatherapy session that morning.
The therapist was very skillful. I didn't specifically tell her where the tight spots on my back were, but she managed to figure it out, probably through my reactions as she applied pressure.
When she realized that I had very bad tightness in my right shoulder joint, she politely asked if I would like to focus more on that area.
Her pressure was forceful and spot-on. It was a little painful, but very relaxing as she attempted to loosen the tightness. There was no rush throughout the session, and she didn't rush to end when the time was almost up, but concentrated on finishing the therapy skillfully.
At the end of the session, I felt so much better and wished I could revisit again soon, if I wasn't returning home to Australia the day after.
Will definitely visit again when I get to be in JB again.

"I was lucky to have been assigned Jaan, an experienced masseuse. She managed to massage the knots out of my sprained neck in a matter of minutes. With her masterful use of acupuncture pressure points, not a single stroke was wasted; each one was directed at easing the pain. I have no idea how good the tea was, but the environment was nice and quiet."

I had the 5 Senses Therapy for head, shoulder, back, and foot. My masseuse, Kum (if I'm not mistaken), was so good. She understood the task and did her job sincerely; hence, I felt so much relief after the session. I wish her success in her career and to Siam Oasis Tebrau City.

My husband and I were helped by D and Som (I hope I've spelled her name correctly). Both of them were extremely skilled. Even though we get massages often, we are hardly ever this impressed with how well massage therapists are able to unwind our tightness.
I had my massage with Som and informed her that my neck muscles were sore and I couldn’t really turn my head. I’ve experienced therapists who tried too hard to rub the knots away and bruised my skin in the process. Som did not. She targeted the knots deep under the skin, and I did not feel any friction against my skin. She is strong and accurate. At the end of 60 minutes, I could turn my head. I felt my neck, and all the bumpy knots were gone! She didn't just focus on my neck; she dug into areas that were related to that pain as well. That was what made the session so effective.
That said, this review is also for me to remember them by name so that when we come back again, we will know who to specifically ask for.
