Their pork is really thin and relatively fresh compared to other steamboat shop, variety might be not much though. The 水菜is really nice. Service is fast

Reasonable pricing for buffet shabu. Overall experience is above average. Only problem was the housefly that kept flying around. No food poisoning:)
Drinks are so-so. Kinda watered down.
The ice cream was a nice finishing touch.
Good assortment to create own dip sauce.

Great variety of food. Lots of sauce and condiments to choose from. Service is fast. Not crowded. They have a huge variety of drinks too. With waffle and ice cream and soya bean curd for dessert.

The quality has started to decline. I’ve dined here several times before and the food was great, but on my recent visit the soup base was bland and tasteless (even though we asked the staff to make it stronger).
When we requested to refill the soup, it almost dried out before anyone came to help. The serving speed was also really slow — and this is supposed to be an all-you-can-eat buffet with a time limit.
It really affected our dining experience. The food itself is still good, but the service really needs improvement. It’s hard to even find a staff member when you need something.

Was there on a Wed for lunch, not crowded at all, only abt 7 tables occupied. Served fast upon ordered. Food quality was good, reasonable spread of food choices for that price.

Overall very satisfied with this place. Not too expensive and good selection of food.
I did feel that the broths are quite salty.
Japanese curry also salty.
But other than that, pleased with this place .
Can consider coming back again.

A great place to have shabu shabu buffet. First Japanese shabu shabu restaurant located in south east Asia. Can choose 2 different soup base and un limited of meat to be ordered via the tablet. Whereas the vegetables, noodles and dessert are self service. Free flow of drinks too. Great service shown by the staff. Will come again.

Only found out after we were stuffed that this branch of Shabu-Yo is the first branch outside of Japan in South East Asia. This is Japanese shabu shabu, which is different from the common Chinese hotpot.
Meat is Ala-carte where we order through the iPad. Depending on the type of meat you select for the buffet, you can order as many as you want. We did the chicken and pork hot pot buffet. There are pork belly, pork shoulder, chicken and mince pork served in a bamboo holder.
I am very impressed with their selection of vegetables. There is so much variety. Sorry I didn’t take photos as I was really exhausted by dinner time.
Also there is waffle maker, soft serve ice cream, shaved ice for dessert. A machine for all sorts of hot beverages like latte, cappuccino, Milo and milk tea. There’s dispenser for carbonated drinks like Coke, Fanta, Sprite and Minute Maid.
Even though it is a Japanese style shabu shabu, I was very impressed by the condiments and sauces available. In fact the variety is more than many Chinese hot pot restaurants. 👍🏼
Service is very good too. The service staff showed us succinctly the different stations and food that are available before we got to our table. They also cleared the empty plates promptly so our tables are quite neat.
Oh yes, forgot to mention, the pot allows for 2 types of soup without extra charges.

Food is good, alot of meat choices at good price.
The option for desert is good too they have ice cream and Waffles.

First time here and was surprised they offered a wide varieties of both cooked food, fresh vege and desserts. Service was swift with the meat delivered minutes after ordered. The soup broth was nice and the goma rice was really tasty. Will be back again
