The bread was good, but the staff is super rude! I asked nicely how long I had to wait, and she replied rudely without looking at me. All she said was, "Roti kena tunggu 30 min," while looking at the escalator behind me. Management needs to train the staff more properly. The girl with glasses, please have more manners.

"The cashier's/staff's attitude and behavior need improvement. While Rotiboy is tasty, customers are left to deal with unprofessional attitudes, as if *they* are the ones who own the shop. Moreover, management should work on increasing order capacity, as customers are forced to wait for too long."

Delicious bread, but the service was poor. I was never treated politely, even when I asked politely about the availability of Rotiboy. Why should customers be at the mercy of rude staff when they approach the shop politely? This guy in the picture was extremely rude. I asked twice about availability, and he never answered. Then, he threw the lollipop he was eating into the dustbin, seemingly to show his frustration with me. Do I owe him his wages? Simply rude.

My friend ordered 15 buns, and initially the cashier misheard and thought it was 50. We corrected her, clarifying it was 15. Thereafter, she stated the amount to be paid for 15 buns (RM40++) but ended up collecting payment for only 5. There was a 30-minute wait for the buns. When it was time for collection, they said my friend had ordered only 5 buns. I explained that the cashier had initially misheard 50 instead of 15, but she then told my friend we would have to wait another 50 minutes for the other 10 buns, admitting it was their fault for missing it. They didn't even try to offer any service recovery for their mistake, which was ridiculous, and their attitude was so bad.

I recently had a very disappointing experience at Rotiboy Bakery. When I first joined the queue, I was informed that my order would be ready by 7:00. However, after waiting patiently and reaching my turn to order, I was then told that my order wouldn’t be ready until 8:00. This inconsistency in communication is unacceptable and very frustrating.
The lack of clear and accurate information from the staff significantly affected my plans for the evening. I hope the management takes steps to improve their service and ensure that customers are given accurate wait times in the future.

Initially, I ordered 15 buns. The cashier heard it as 50, but we corrected her right away. She charged me for 15 buns, which was 43++ RM. I handed her a 50 RM note and didn't check the change or the receipt, as I thought I heard 43+ RM as well. We were told to wait 30 minutes. When we collected the buns, she told me I had only ordered 5. I checked the receipt again, and indeed, it showed I had only ordered 5 pieces. We then clarified with her that we clearly ordered 15, and she told us, in a shitty attitude, to wait 50 minutes if we wanted the other 10. I really don't know if I'm at fault for not checking the receipt, or if it was the cashier's fault.

"Visited this branch today, 30/3. You should know when your store is going to be busy, especially during Iftar. You should prepare extra to bake. Now I need to wait 30-40 minutes. No common sense."

May 22, 2024, morning shift, around 12:00 PM.
Aeon Tebrau City JB - This skinny Malay guy (not racist) working was super rude. He got my order wrong, and when I returned to have it changed, he shouted at me, saying I was the one who was wrong, blah blah. Super unpleasant experience. I was happily buying Rotiboy and shopping, but my mood was spoiled by him.
Does Rotiboy provide proper customer service? If he's not in the mood to work, he should stay home instead of shouting at customers. I sincerely hope Rotiboy can address this issue. Why was I being scolded just because he got my order wrong?
Super, super disappointed and upset.

"Long queues mean you have to wait up to 30 minutes. Then, once you reach the counter, they ask you to wait an additional 10 minutes for the rotiboy to be ready. What a waste of time!"
