I'm satisfied with the service. The staff is the friendliest I've ever encountered. They make us feel comfortable and provide helpful tips while we try the challenge. I highly recommend coming here if you'd like to challenge yourself; it's affordable and worth the money!

"A very underrated place tucked away in a corner of AEON Mall (which makes it a little hard to find on your first visit). I loved (and was also pretty intimidated by) the super high walls with lots of different routes. The speed wall was cool and challenging too! My favorite part of the gym was the beautifully painted high walls on the second floor with various landscapes, like the solar system, a bookshelf, and a helicopter with an actual rope ladder you could climb (which ended up being more challenging than the regular lanesđ ).
The bouldering wall could have a few more easier sections, though, since most of the routes are on walls sloping towards you (which require more upper body strength to climb compared to those sloping away from you). Also, it got a bit noisy at times because the staff started drilling to secure the holds on the high walls. But those are only minor issues â my partner and I had a lot of fun overall. Lockers and complementary equipment were a huge bonus, too!"

Whatâs Great:
Variety of Routes: The walls are well-designed with a good mix of bouldering and top rope climbing. Routes are color-coded and graded, with regular resets to keep things fresh. Mostly autobelay systems are available.
Beginner-Friendly: The staff are super friendly and helpful. If youâre new, theyâll walk you through the basics and make sure youâre climbing safely.
Location: Conveniently located in a shopping mall, so you can grab a bite or do some shopping before or after your session.
Family Vibes: A great spot for families and kids too.
Could Be Better:
Limited Space During Peak Hours: It can get a bit crowded on weekends or public holidays. If you want a quieter session, try visiting on a weekday.
Gear Rentals: Gear is free, but regular climbers will probably want to bring their own for a better fit and comfort.
Overall, Rocky Basecamp is a fun and accessible climbing spot with good facilities, chill vibes, and a solid community. Great for weekend outings, team building, or just blowing off some steam after a day of shopping. Highly recommended!

"Fun activity idea: indoor rock climbing at Aeon Tebrau City Mall. The entrance is a bit hidden, but it's located just beside JD Sports. The price is affordable (RM 33/adult) for 2 hours. The activities are suitable for both kids and adults. It's a well-ventilated area with several fun climbing walls to try. The staff is friendly, and they will guide you before you try climbing on your own. Shoutout to Amir, a staff member at Rocky Basecamp, who guided us during our session here."

My kids' first time trying out rock climbing. The staff were friendly, and the coach was helpful.
Just walk in and bring along a pair of socks. Shoes and harnesses are provided. You can also buy socks here for RM4+, each. To accompany without climbing, it's also RM4+ each.

This place is located right next to JD Sports. It's an interesting place to bring your kids for some slightly extreme activity. My kids loved it. There are many levels of wall climbing here; the highest one is 15m high. Please check their schedule before you come, as there are specific time slots. Each one is around 2 hours (if I'm not mistaken). The staff were very friendly with my kids and treated them well. And don't forget to wear socks! #recommended

"Brought my brother, sister, and dad here last two weeks. Great climbing experience, fun moments treasured, and helpful assistance provided the whole time. Worth paying RM35 per person and RM5 (guardian price) for my dad. Ohh, and it's just RM35 for a maximum of two hours of games. Kids, adults, and even veteran athletes can have fun and improve their inner strength here. Believe me, that's more than enough time for everyone to play inside."
