Carpe Diem
The restaurant specializes in Hakka dishes, and each item brought a sense of comfort and authenticity. Food The two thick slices of pork belly immediately caught my eye — they looked incredibly appetizing and tasted just as good. The salted fish pork patty, mixed with a hint of Mui Heong salted fish, had a unique flavor profile. Unlike the usual homemade burger-style patties, this version carried a distinctive texture and was very enjoyable. The pepper pig stomach soup was rich in flavor, warming and comforting — perfect for the stomach. A highlight worth mentioning is the restaurant’s homemade chili sauce. It was so flavorful that it could easily be enjoyed with plain rice alone. Drinks I tried the Lei Cha Milk Tea, which was quite an interesting fusion. The basil-like flavor from the herb (golden basil) was rather strong, but still within a pleasant and acceptable range. Overall, it was unique, refreshing, and worth a try. Service & Environment The service was friendly, and the staff cleared tables promptly, keeping everything tidy. The dining atmosphere was comfortable and relaxed, making it a great spot to enjoy Hakka comfort food
