Baskin-Robbins Aeon Tebrau City

Went to this outlet at 7:45 pm today (8/5/2025). My daughter wanted chocolate ice cream, but the staff told me they weren't going to replenish that flavor. She even suggested I go to another Baskin Robbins outlet for it.

I am writing to express my disappointment with the service I received at your Aeon Tebrau store on the ground floor. The staff member serving my family, a young lady, was extremely rude. I kindly asked her to give my aunt the ice cream first because I didn’t want it to melt. Instead of addressing my request respectfully, she threw the ice cream at me without an apology.

"I've been coming here frequently, but I was a bit disappointed today, February 8, 2025. The ice cream portions were super tiny. I bought three junior triple scoops and paid RM76.50, which I feel is not worth the price."

This was my first and last visit to this outlet. I bought a coupon from Grab and tried to redeem it here. After waiting in line for almost 10 minutes, I presented the voucher to the staff and selected my ice cream flavors. However, she just stared at me and asked me to scan the voucher at the counter before packing my ice cream. When it was my turn to scan the voucher, the customer behind me also attempted to redeem a Grab voucher. The staff treated him completely differently—she even explained how to redeem the voucher and began packing *his* ice cream right away. This clearly showed a double standard in service. After scanning the voucher at the counter, the cashier asked me to choose my flavors. I told the cashier to check with the staff, but she didn’t even remember what I had told her just a few minutes earlier. The customer behind me might have thought I was being rude, but why was a different SOP applied? The customer behind me scanned their voucher and received their order instantly, while I had to scan my voucher, repeat my choices, and wait for the staff to pack my order. Today, Baskin Robbins Aeon Tebrau taught me a lesson in "double standards." Visited on 23 March 2025.

"Bought two cups of mix-your-own milkshake. I asked for a small paper cup so I could give some to my kids, and even offered to pay for it, but the staff said no. Then I asked how much a plastic cup would be, and they wanted to charge me the full price of 9.50RM. I've never had such an encounter with other outlets; the staff here is...speechless."
