Toppen Announces Winners of Laugan Semangat Merdeka Challenge
Toppen Shopping Centre has crowned the Top 3 highest scorers of its Laugan Semangat Merdeka Challenge, held from 21 August to 27 September 2026. The challenge invited shoppers to showcase their Merdeka spirit through poses and smiles, with the most spirited participants taking home exclusive prizes.
Nik Amila Baszelan secured first place and won a Limited Edition Toppen Luggage worth RM360. Choo Sui Yee took second place with IKEA Products valued at RM199, while Amran Taib claimed third place with IKEA Products worth RM130. Toppen congratulated all winners and thanked everyone who joined the challenge.
Kontinjen Terpaling Semangat Celebration
The challenge was part of Toppen's broader "Kontinjen Terpaling Semangat" campaign, which celebrated unity during the Merdeka season. The campaign's message, "Mungkin kita berbeza, tapi banyak persamaan yang menyatukan kita. Sebab bila bersama, Kita Kontinjen Malaysia," highlighted how differences are bridged by shared national pride.
Merdeka Selfie Booth
Participants also enjoyed a digital photo booth at the event, accessible via merdeka-booth.vercel.app. The booth, titled "SILA SELFIE MERDEKA ANDA," prompted users to ensure their faces were in the frame before pressing "SEDIA" to capture their Merdeka moment.
Kontinjen Karaoke Semangat
Toppen also hosted Kontinjen Karaoke Semangat during the same period, from 21 August to 27 September 2026, giving shoppers another way to express their patriotic fervour. Terms and conditions applied to all challenge prizes, and images were for illustration purposes only.
