I am writing to express my concern regarding an incident that occurred at this Typo store in Tebrau on 17th July 2024. During my visit, my sister was offered a free bottle water by a staff member. However, upon checking out, I was unexpectedly charged RM4 for bottle water. This charge was not clearly communicated to my sister beforehand. When I asked my sister to inquiry about this charge at the checkout, the staff member who assisted my sister raised her voice to explain that RM4 is for CHARITY loudly that I could hear it from outside the store, prompting me to come in and check on the situation. I found this to be unprofessional and distressing. As a customer, I believe that all charges should be transparently communicated, and any inquiries should be handled courteously. The amount of money is not the issue but, it is the attitude and transparency that are important. I hope that such incidents do not occur in the future, as they negatively impact the customer experience.
