The ramen tasted quite mediocre, especially considering the price. The side dishes were okay. The ice lemon tea was a bit too sweet for my liking, and the broth wasn't as great as described in the menu.
Food arrived quickly after ordering via mobile phone. They offer set meals, which are slightly better value for the money.

I ordered the Original Ichiban Ramen, and unfortunately, it didn't live up to my expectations. The portion size was quite small, and the broth lacked depth; it wasn't thick or rich, which made the overall experience feel underwhelming. For a dish that should be comforting and full of umami, it really fell short.

"Ichiban means number one, but this shop is not. The ramen is below average; however, for the price, it's okay, I suppose. I didn't like the food, and it's clearly not a Japanese outlet.
Update: The next morning, both my mother and I experienced stomach upset after eating the meal. I think food safety here is questionable."

The broth isn't thick enough. I regret not checking more carefully to ensure it was halal. The beef croquettes aren't crispy, and the filling isn't hot.

"Terrible ramen place. The Rich Chicken Ramen broth was weird, and the Ajitama egg white was very salty. The beef ramen was decent, or at least edible, but both types of noodles were overcooked and not springy. The gyoza tasted bad. The only thing that was "good" was the chawanmushi."

We ordered the family deal, which included three bowls of ramen, fried rice, edamame, beef croquettes, and four drinks. Here's our take:
Ramen: The ramen in broth was delicious and met our expectations.
Fried Rice: Surprisingly good—perfectly cooked and not overly sticky or wet.
Beef Croquettes: Crispy on the outside, and they seemed to have cheese inside, which was a pleasant surprise.
Edamame: Fresh and well-prepared.
The gyoza, while nicely presented, had overly thin skin that broke apart easily when bitten, which was disappointing. The filling was also lacking in flavor.
We ordered two green teas with free refills—great value!
Overall, the meal was enjoyable, with some highlights, but the gyoza could use improvement.

"I was a bit hesitant to try this place because of the low ratings. Reading through the reviews before going had prepared me for the worst 🤣, but the actual taste of the food wasn't bad; I actually enjoyed it."

As a foodie with a discerning palate, I recently had the pleasure of dining at Ichiban Ramen, and I must say that my experience was exceptional. The level of service at this establishment was truly impressive; my food arrived promptly, and my waiter exhibited efficiency, professionalism, and courtesy.
In terms of the food itself, I was blown away by the Ebi curry meal that I ordered. This dish was an absolute standout, easily surpassing anything I've had at any Japanese restaurant before. The balance of flavors was exquisite, with the rich curry sauce perfectly complementing the succulent shrimp.
I must also commend the overall ambiance of the restaurant, which was both calming and inviting. It's worth noting, however, that reservations are recommended to ensure you're able to enjoy the full experience without undue waiting.
Overall, I highly recommend Ichiban Ramen to anyone seeking a truly memorable dining experience. Whether you're a die-hard foodie or simply looking to excite your taste buds, this restaurant is sure to deliver.
